Colorado House Kills Three Pro-Life Bills

Three pro-life bills were presented in a single meeting of the House Health, Insurance and Environment Committee on February 9th : abortion pill reversal information (HB17-1086), registration and inspection of abortion facilities (HB17-1085), and defining life as beginning at conception (HB17-1108).

The testimony in favor of the bills was impressive and came from multiple perspectives including doctors and nurses, lawyers, and even women who have successfully saved babies by using the abortion pill reversal treatment. Local Rep. Lois Landgraf aided the process by asking good questions of those who came to testify.

The Goal

What is the primary goal for any Christian?  Is it not to get to Heaven?!

Today in the State of Colorado, we face a major struggle over Proposition 106, the Physician Assisted Suicide (PAS) ballot initiative.  The battle between those in favor and those against is focused on HOW one dies.  The argument for PAS is based on having the right, under certain conditions, to terminate one’s own life.  The main strategy for those arguing against PAS is to sow doubt about the implementation of Prop 106, thereby hoping the majority of voters will vote “NO” on it!  Both sides argue from a secular perspective.

PPCFL Survey 2016 Responses for Local Candidates, General Election Update

[Updated September 13, 2016]

In late February we sent the same survey to candidates for federal offices within Colorado (US House, US Senate, US President). Yet again in May we sent out surveys to additional candidates who had entered political races after we conducted our earlier rounds of surveys. We compiled the responses and presented them in an earlier post so you could make informed decisions in the primary election.

How Assisted Suicide/Murder Brings Trouble for Doctors and All of Us

A 2013 physician assisted suicide law is causing problems for doctors in Vermont.
