Defending Life in the Pikes Peak Region

Allies in the Battle for Life

I had the honor and privilege of attending a Holiday Open House at the Galley Road offices of Life Network in early December. One of the purposes of the open house was to bid a fond farewell to the current President and CEO of Life Network, Diane Foley, MD, and to meet and welcome the man who will take the reins in January 2017, Mr. Rich Bennett.

Dr. Foley said the following about Mr. Bennett in her farewell letter, “Rich has served on our Board of Directors for the past five years and is deeply committed to the vision and mission of Life Network. He comes to Life Network with more than two decades of leadership experience in the corporate and non-profit sector, most recently as part of the executive team at Focus on the Family.”

As many of you know, Life Network operates three Pregnancy Resource Centers in Colorado Springs. As a part of their mission, they provide positive alternative choices to abortion with the specific goal of preserving the lives of the unborn. (#3, Mission Statement) They also provide parenting support and counseling, education on healthy relationships, and post-abortion healing for women and men.

Life Network is a powerful force for good in our community and will continue to be so as they go through this transition.

Dr. Foley put it beautifully when she said, “The work God has called Life Network to is vitally important. Women and men will always need compassionate help when faced with difficult choices. Life Network remains committed to minister truth and love to those who find themselves in seemingly hopeless situations.”
