Conception Marked by Flash of Light

Several news outlets have commented on a study published this week by Northwestern University researchers that reports a literal spark of light occurs at the moment of conception.

The flash of light is thought to be due to a release of zinc from the egg and can be seen in a video attached to an article available at LifeSiteNews.

Caucus is Mostly Over But Much More Is To Come

Now that the state caucus process has mostly run its course for this election season (except at the national level), it is time for the pro-life movement in Colorado to focus our political efforts on the elections (primary on June 28th, general on November 8th).

A Glimpse of Hell

On Feb 16, 2016, Mr. Steve W. Mosher made a most impressive pro-life presentation at St Dominic’s Church.  (In fact, sitting behind my wife and me was Fr. Bill Carmody who passed away the following night.)

Just a little research on Mr. Mosher reveals how unique he is.  His accomplishments in academia are most impressive.  As a linguist, he is fluent in five languages.  He enrolled in the Chinese Language Program at the Chinese University in Hong Kong, completing the two year course in nine months.  He was a rising star at Stanford University in social research, zipping through one course after another.  In 1980, he was the first U.S. social scientist to receive permission to study the impact of political changes in a remote Chinese village.  Up to this point in his life, Mr. Mosher had been pro-choice and saw the world through a lens of many shades of gray.  He was also an avowed atheist.  One profound event changed his mind.  He witnessed the forced abortion of a Chinese woman who was in violation of China’s ONE child law.  Mr. Mosher realized he had just seen total EVIL!  It was like a “Glimpse into Hell.”

Two Titans Lost in February

Two titans to the pro-life community were lost in February.

Nationally, the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia not only put in jeopardy several cases pending before the court, it left the court without the reasoned voice of a man who understood the natural law and who upheld the principles and limits of government as handed down to us by our nation’s founding fathers in the U.S. Constitution.
